Papa Johns' garlic sauce has a fanbase of its own. So when it was time to launch the new Garlic Epic Stuffed Crust pizza (yes, a pizza with a crust stuffed with cheese and garlic sauce), we knew we had to thank the fans for inspiring us to create this amazing new flavor.

Shaq Reads the Feeds

First, we invited Shaq (Papa John's Board member and franchisee) to react to some of our fans’ tweets and deliver the news that their love inspired us to create a new pizza.

Launch TV Spot

Our TV commercial featured real tweets from our fans and a custom track created by music producer and TikTok sensation Ricky Desktop. We celebrated the fans’ love with an ear worm that let everyone know that this pizza has their favorite garlic sauce flavor in it, on it, and with it.


On Tiktok and Instagram, we amplified our campaign with a lyric video and behind the scenes content featuring Shaq and Ricky Desktop.

And when the spicy version of the pizza dropped, we launched a new fan-inspired spot featuring a remix of the track 🔥🍕
